Sangla
Sangla is a small town located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh . Situated in the Baspa valley and the Greater Himalayas, this city is close to the Tibetan border. The city is named after a nearby village of the same name, which in Tibetan means ‘the path of light’. The natural beauty of this region is amazing. This place is famous for its pine nut orchards, beautiful trees of apples and cherries. Sangla Valley Due to the situation on the Indo-China border, travelers had to get special permission from the Government of India to visit this place. However, later this rule was abolished to promote tourism in the region.
