UP Free Boring Scheme: Through the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, the Free Boring Scheme has been started to provide water facility to the farmers of the state. Under this scheme, tube wells will be set up near the fields to bring water to the crops of the farmers. With the help of these tube wells, farmers will be able to easily provide water to their crops. The application process for the Free Boring Scheme has been started by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The process related to registering is shared below.


Application for free boring scheme started

Free boring scheme application process has been started through the UP government to save the farmer citizens of the state from being affected by water problems. Now all farmers can take advantage of the facility of tube wells to irrigate their fields. Due to non-availability of water facility for irrigation of crops, farmers have to face many losses in agriculture. To solve all these problems, now the UP government is providing the facility of free boring scheme to the farmers. In which farmer citizens can install boreholes in their agricultural land and bring water to their fields.

An amount of five thousand to seven thousand rupees will be provided by the government to the small and marginal farmers of the state for setting up boring. Pump sets will also be provided to farmers having less than 2 hectares of land. Along with this, a grant amount up to 40 thousand rupees to small farmers and 60 thousand rupees to marginal farmers will be provided under the scheme.

Benefits of UP Free Boring Scheme

Under this scheme of the UP government, the farmers of the state will be able to make available water for their crops from time to time by availing the benefit of free boring. They no longer have to depend on rain for water for irrigation. Due to availability of water facility to the crops at the appropriate time, the area of ​​agricultural production will increase. More production will increase the income of the farmers, this is a better opportunity for the farmers to improve their income, the farmers have been provided under the government. All farmer citizens belonging to general category, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, OBC, other backward class can get the benefit of all facilities by applying in the scheme to establish boring.

How to register online in UP Free Boring Scheme

  • To apply in Uttar Pradesh Boring Scheme, farmer person has to go to the official website of Minor Irrigation Department http://minorirrigationup.gov.in/.
  • After going to the website, click on the Schemes section in the home page.
  • In the new page, the applicant farmer citizen has to click in the link of the application form.
  • After clicking on the link the application form will open. After downloading the application form, take a print out of it and enter all the important information given in it.
  • And submit the application form to the concerned department.
  • In this way the process of applying for the free boring scheme will be completed.
