Agasthyakoodam
Agasthyakudam, the magnificent peak of the Western Ghats in the form of a sharp cone 1890 m. Located at an altitude of. One can trek up to a distance of about 61 km from Bonacod. It is surrounded by dense forests. According to one belief, this peak used to be the abode of sage Agastya. Women are not allowed to climb this summit. Rare herbs and flora are found on this peak. Colorful flowers of Neelakuranji bloom on their shields. Neelakuranji is a flower that blooms once in twelve years.
Chembra
Chembra Peak is located in Wayanad district near Meppadya town and is the highest peak in this district. This peak is situated at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level. This peak is a part of the Western Valley. This peak can be seen from any part of Wayanad. It is a favorite trekking place of tourists. Some wild animals occur on this summit. Chemmini
Chemmini Wildlife Sanctuary located in Thrissur district of Kerala is the perfect place to keep an eye on the birds. Trekkers can travel from the outskirts of the sanctuary. The best time to visit here is October-March.

Paythalmala is a hill station situated in Kannur district of Kerala which is completely surrounded by dense forests. It is part of the Western Ghats. Many different species of animals and plants are found here. Tourists in this area are 6 km away. One can trek from the peak to the hill for a distance. The wonderful views seen on the valleys to the tourists make them feel the peace of nature. There is an ancient palace here which is named after the ancient tribal ruler (Vathalkon). It is located on the hill station named after it. Payathal Mala is also known as Vaital Mala.
