Haryana
Haryana is a fast growing state of India. It is surrounded by Uttar Pradesh in the east, Punjab in the west, Rajasthan in the south and Himachal Pradesh in the north. It is located close to Delhi, the capital of the country and the western, northern and southern border of Delhi with Haryana.
Haryana adjacent to Delhi is quite prosperous in terms of tourism. There are many beautiful places to see here. Kurukshetra is located here, where the Mahabharata war took place. Apart from this, Badkhal lake of Faridabad also holds a special place in Haryana tourism. The star-shaped mausoleum near Bhiwani also arouses a lot of buzz and attracts tourists from all over the world. Haryana has everything from temples and forts to lakes and parks for tourism.

Culturally, Haryana is also very rich. The history of this place dates back to the Vedic period and is also mentioned in Hindu mythology. It was here that Lord Brahma created the creation by performing religious rituals. Apart from this, there is more in Haryanas, which make its glorious heritage even more prosperous.
Haryana was earlier a part of Punjab. Because of this, the culture of the two states is very similar. The major languages spoken here include Harayanvi, Hindi and Punjabi. All the major festivals of the country are celebrated here with great pomp. Lohri is a major festival of Haryana. Other festivals in Haryana include Gangaur, Baisakhi, Gugga Naumi, Surajkund Handicraft Fair and Karthik Fair.
Along with the culture in Haryana, simplicity is also seen in the food here. People here like delicious and nutritious food. Since milk is produced on a large scale in the state, most of the dishes here include milk or products made from it. Some of the common foods here include lassi, kachri ki sabzi, and mixed dal.
