Kalpa

Kalpa is a small village located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is known for its culture, environment, and beautiful scenery. It is situated here at a height of 2758 meters above sea level.

You can see a beautiful view of the Sutlej river flowing down from the Himalayas here. The Narayan-Nagani temple here is a perfect example of craftsmanship and one of the greatest attractions of tourists also. Kalpa has a Buddhist monastery which also includes Hu-Bu-ian-Kar Gompa.  Kalpa is also known for Kinnar Kailash because it is located very near to it.

Best time to visit Kalpa 

The best time to visit Kalpa is the summer season when the temperature of the place is moderate. The minimum temperature recorded during summer is 8 ° C. This place receives unpredictable rainfall during the monsoon, so it is suggested that tourists avoid traveling here at this time. During winters you may face difficulties in traveling to this place as the minimum temperature here falls below -10 ° C.
