Tabo is located at a distance of
48 km from Kaza. It is situated at an altitude of 3,050 meters above sea level.
It is called ‘Anjata of the Himalayas’. Tabo is also famous for Buddhism with
natural landscapes. The Tabo Monastery located here is one of the famous Buddhist
religious centers. This Buddhist monastery is counted among the most attractive

In the magnificent Buddhist monasteries of Kaza, you can plan a trip to ‘Key Math’ located 7 km from here. This monastery is also known as ‘Key Gompa’. Traveling without visiting this monastery is considered meaningless. ‘Key Gompa’ is one of the most attractive places near Kaza.

Dhankar Math
In the series of beautiful monasteries near Kaza, you can visit the Dhankar Math located at a distance of 40 km. Travelers like to go through trekking here. Two gompas exist here, one of which is said to be 1000 years old, while the other has been constructed only a few years ago. The monastery is believed to have been inaugurated by the Dalai Lama.

Kunzum Pass
Apart from the above-mentioned
sites, you can enjoy a walk at Kunzum Pass situated at an altitude of 4551.
This pass is called the entrance of Kaza. This pass also holds religious
significance with its amazing views, there is a famous temple dedicated to Maa
Durga on the hill here.
