Chandratal
Chandratal is a lake situated at an altitude of about 4,300 meters on the Himalayas, which is famous for its natural beauty. It comes under Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It is called “Chandratal” due to its shape which is similar to the moon. It is a clear water lake, whose water shines like glass and is completely pollution-free. This lake attracts tourists from all over the world. There is a movement of adventure enthusiasts throughout the year. This place is very famous among adventurous tourists with interests like trekking and camping. There is also an island in the middle of the lake, which is called the sea island. It is also surprising that this lake does not show any source of water while the path of exit is clear.
