If you want to know a lot about Jain community then you can go to visit Ashtapada located in Hastinapur. The Ashtapada situated here is a structure of the original Ashtapada. The original Ashtapada is built in the high mountain range of the Himalayas, about 160 miles ahead of Badrinath. It is said that Lord Rishabhdev attained salvation by doing the first pilgrimage of Jainism at this place. After that, on the same mountains, his son Maharaja Bharat Chakraborty built a palace, which he decorated with heroes. Jain communities believe that salvation is attained at this place. Due to this belief, some communities together built a structure similar to the original Ashtapada in Hastinapur, whose diameter is 108 meters. Digambar Jain Ancient Temple

People interested in Jainism or tourists interested in knowing their culture can visit Digambar Jain Bada Temple during their trip to Hastinapur. Digambar Jain Bada Mandir belongs to the Digambar communities of Jainism. This temple was constructed in 1801 AD.
