Hastinapur

Aughadnath Temple
This temple is one of the famous temples of Meerut. This temple had a special contribution during the War of 1857. During the war of 1857, the British used to call Indians as Kali Paltan. Shapir
Shapir is a Dargah situated in Meerut, which is famous among tourists from a tourism point of view. This Dargah was built by Queen
Noorjahan during the Mughal period in 1628 AD. This Dargah is dedicated to
Hazrat Shah Pir, the teacher of Jahangir, who was also the advisor of Queen
Noor Jahan. The monument is made of red stone, around which there are four
pillars. A very beautiful view arises here at the time of sunset. The lush
green trees and plants surrounding the monument create a picturesque view,
which attracts tourists. During Ramzan there is a huge crowd of Muslim devotees
here.
Vidur's mound
Vidur Ka Tila is a beautiful tourist destination located in
Meerut. This mound is 55 to 60 feet high. It is said that during the time of
Mahabharata, a wise thinker named Vidur used to live in this fort. It is said
that he was very famous among the people. People who were unable to solve any
of their problems used to come to him from far and wide for advice. This mound

Dargah of Wale Miya
This Dargah was built by Qutubuddin Aibak in the year 1194. Urs

Abu Lane
