DEE, Assam Assistant Teacher (LP & UP) Recruitment 2024 – Apply Online for 5550 Posts

Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has given a Notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher (UP Schools) & Assistant Teacher (LP Schools) Vacancy. The district-wise, medium-wise and category-wise break-up of vacancies showing the reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen etc. will be notified in due course of time, subject to approval of the Post-Based Roster from the WPT & BC Department, Personnel Department, Department of Tribal Affairs (Plain) and subject to approval of the vacant posts from Finance (SIU) Department. The vacancies may vary due to administrative reasons. The Director of Elementary Education, Assam reserves the right to make changes in sequences of the recruitment process after publication of the advertisement.

The aspiring candidate must be ready to serve in their respective places of posting in terms of choice of their districts.

Conditions of Recruitment:

1. The Director of Elementary Education, Assam reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment at any state without assigning any reason thereof.

2. The candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for Upper Primary School will be eligible for applying. 3. Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply.

4. The Merit List will be separate for each district and category.

5. A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st January, 2023.

6. No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms, the Guidelines contained in the Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06/11/2019 and No. ABP.69/2019/18 dated 16/11/2019.

7. The candidate shall submit the declaration at the time of online application as per the provisions contained in the Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06/11/2019 and UPS 2 No. ABP.69/2019/18 dated 16/11/2019. The required declaration shall be filled up and signed by the candidates during submission of online application.

8. The eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from 10:00 AM of 2nd January, 2024 to 10:00 PM of 2nd February, 2024.

9. No offline application will be accepted.

10. The Online Application and documents submitted by the candidate will be verified with the help of DigiLocker, Govt. of India and by scanning Barcode or QR Code for ensuring genuineness of the uploaded documents as well as by way of back-office verification with the competent board/ council/ authority. But the authority, if desires, may conduct physical document verification at any point of time.

11. The candidate must ensure genuineness of all the information/ documents uploaded against the online application and he/ she will be solely responsible for the information/documents uploaded against his/ her online application. Once uploaded there will be no scope of correction in respect of the credentials submitted by the candidates. Any discrepancy/ misrepresentation of facts/ information will lead to cancellation of the candidature.

12. The candidature will be cancelled forthwith, if any kind of fraudulence/ discrepancy/ misrepresentation of facts/ uploaded by the candidate is detected by appropriate authority at any point of time. The candidate will also be barred from taking part in any Govt. recruitment process in future and subsequent legal action will also be initiated against such candidate.

13. The regular teachers already working in UP Schools under DEE, Assam are not allowed to apply in same posts in UP Schools.

14. A candidate can apply only in one post against one particular ATET/CTET for UP Schools Roll No.

1 Scale of Pay: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”

2. The candidates having Not Clear (NC) status against any qualification will not be eligible to apply.

3. Betterment/ Improvement of Marks in respect of Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examination will be considered only in the same subjects which were originally taken by the Candidate. Only the 1st betterment examination/ improvement of marks will be taken into account. UPS 5

4. There shall be reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women/ Exservicemen etc. as per existing Government Rules.

5. Selection Process: The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit considering the reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc.

7. Documents required to be uploaded in colour:

 i.Passport Size Photograph.

ii.HSLC Admit Card.

iii.HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.

iv.Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate.

v.Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.

vi.DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.

vii.Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).

viii.Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.

ix.Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET for UPS.

x.Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority. xi.Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.

xii.Scanned Signature.

Note:  

§ Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll Number of ATET/CTET for UPS examination, they will not be allowed to submit the online application for second time.

§ After submitting the online application, the candidates will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and will keep the printout of the unique Number for all future references.

§ Canvassing directly or indirectly will lead to cancellation of candidature.

§ The office will not be responsible for any lapse in submission of online application due to any technical problem at the end of the candidate.

§ The office will not be responsible for any kind of fraudulence of information/ document. The candidate will be solely responsible for the same.
