Panipat
Panipat district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana in North India. It comes under Karnal Division. Historically, the region of Panipat was one of the five cities founded by the Pandavas of the great epic Mahabharata and at that time, it was known as Panduprastha. On January 1, 1992, Panipat emerged as a separate district on the map of the state of Haryana.
