Ambala district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state, India and Ambala city is the administrative headquarters of the district. District Ambala is situated on the north-eastern edge of Haryana and shares the borders with Punjab and Himachal Pradesh . District Ambala is a part of Ambala Division.
