Bandhavgarh National Park - The Land of Tigers

Bandhavgarh Sanctuary is one of the most famous national parks of Madhya Pradesh. It is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. It was declared a national park in 1968. The park is famous for its tigers. The famous white leopard was also discovered here.  Most of the Bandhavgarh Sanctuary is in the hill, which is part of the grand fort of Bandhavgarh. Earlier the forest spread around Bandhavgarh was maintained as a hunting ground of the Maharaja of Rewa. In 1993, the park was brought under the Tiger Project. The tigers can easily be seen in the middle of the roads in the Sanctuary. Main Attraction Fort Bandhavgarh fort was built on the hill of Bandhavgarh and it is more than 2 thousand years old. Which was built by the Maharajas of Rewa. This fort is built at an altitude of 800 meters, can give a panoramic view of the city and the forest. This fort has a legend of its own.
