Karnal is an agricultural and industrial district in the north-central part of Haryana . Karnal is one of the historical districts of Haryana. It is also known as the city of ' Danveer Karna '. It is said that it was founded by King Karna. The name Karnal comes from Karnalaya, where Aalaya means abode.
