Amarkantak of Madhya Pradesh has always been a favorite destination for tourists and pilgrims. It is at this place 1065 meters above sea level that the Vindhya and Satpura Hills of central India meet. The holy Narmada and Son rivers originate from Amarkantak, a pilgrimage site for Hindus.
