Zakir Hussain Rose Garden (Chandigarh) is a botanical garden located in Sector 16, Chandigarh city, which is spread over 30 acres. Although there are many flower varieties, trees, and plants in this garden, the main center of attraction is the rose plant here, there are more than 50,000 rose plants and the biggest thing is the species around 1600 different spices of roses are in this garden.  You can see so many different species of roses in one place, which probably will not happen anywhere in the world. It is named after the former President of India, Dr. Zakir Hussain, and is constructed in 1967 under the supervision of  Dr. MS. Randhawa, who was the first Chief Commissioner of Chandigarh.
