The water level of the river has reached 71:20 on Thursday. By 8 am, the danger point has risen to 1.30 meters. The danger point here is 69.90 m.
The floods of Saryu in Madhuban are now heading towards destruction and are desperate to repeat the history of 1998. The water level of the Saryu river has crossed the danger mark of 66.31 meters and reached 66.92 meters at eight in the morning at Hahanala in the area. It is just 55 cms down from 1998's highest figure of 67.47. Due to this, flood water has entered dozens of houses in half a dozen villages and valuables of villagers are getting wasted.
Chakkimusadohi, Nurullahpur Nai Basti, Vindtolia Nai Basti, Chauhanpur, Ghajiyapur Partial, Barikanta, Kudiya, Jaralhwa have been completely affected by the floods of Saryu river in the area. Earlier there was water all around the village, so people were doing work by staying at home, but now the villagers have started migrating due to water entering the house. In this, Chakkimusadohi, Chauhanpur, Nurullahpur Nai Basti have been affected the most. The valuables kept in the house are getting wasted due to floods. A large number of villagers are taking shelter at the dam and other places besides flood relief camps.
