Best time to visit Tirthan Valley
The best time to visit the
Tirthan valley is during the summer season and early winter. These three
seasons are considered the most suitable for visiting this region.
Summer season (April to June): During this time the weather of Tirthan
valley is very pleasant and this place is perfect for avoiding the heat of the
city. The entire region is covered with vegetation and strong winds. Also, the
whole valley smells of flowers.
Winter (November – February): In this season, snow is scattered all
around the month of November. This environment is liked by every tourist.
All vegetation also accumulates snow.
Spring season (March – April): This valley looks most beautiful in this
season. During this time, grasslands, and fruit-flower gardens are full. This view
looks very beautiful. In this season, light cold winds blow. This season is the
best for the holiday.
There are some beautiful places
near the Tirthan Valley. Many beautiful resorts and retreats near

6 km long trail from Jalori Pass. The Tirathan Valley on the banks of the

There are many beautiful
waterfalls around this place. One can roam in areas like Gusheni, Banjar,
Nagini, and Shoja. All these places are very beautiful in nature. Wood carving
is also very famous in this area.
Parashar Lake
One can also see Parashar Lake in
this area which is very sacred and beautiful. There are also many historical
temples around this lake. This lake was built in the 14th century. Shringi Rishi temple can also be visited in the neighborhood of Baghi.
Chehni Kothi
Chehni Kothi is a
1500-year-old fort and is made of a wooden beam and stone slab. King Rana
Dhadhiya of Kullu lived in this palace. Its top five floors have fallen due to
the 1905 earthquake. It is the tallest structure in the Western Himalayan
region.
